    How To

    Select  the channel in which you would like create a hotline thread. Tap “Thread Creation” button on the bottom right corner and press “Hotline” button. Choose a topic and a description of the hotline; these fields are mandatory for the thread creation and optional you can add a picture. After you made your adjustments tap “SEND” and create the hotline.

    After the hotline creation the channel subscribers are able to start a one-to-one chat with the hotline creator. Any item send by channel subscriber will only be visible to the hotline creator.

    Chat threads allow all subscribers of the channel to communicate at one place. Messages send by any subscriber will be visible to all the subscribers. This thread type is suitable for open discussions and can be created in private channels.

    At first you select the channel in which you would like to create the chat thread. Tap “Thread Creation” button on the bottom right corner and press “Chat” button. Choose a topic and a description of the chat these fields are mandatory for the thread creation. Optional you can insert a picture. After you made your adjustments tap “SEND” and create the chat.

    The poll threat makes it easy to reach out of audience of any size, when immediate feedback is required.

    In order to create a poll select the channel in which you would like to create the poll. Tap “Thread Creation” button on the bottom right corner and press the “Poll” button.  Choose a topic and a description of the poll; these fields are mandatory for the thread creation.

    You can add up to 9 poll options in a poll thread, whereas minimum 2 poll options are required to send a poll thread. Subscriber can select only one poll option in reply, and selected poll option cannot be changed after submission. Moreover, the channel owner cannot vote.

    Optional you can add pictures, set a deadline, activate the “Age out”, or “Insider” feature. A deadline can be set in order to limit the time in which the poll takes place. If “Age out” option is selected, the poll will be deleted from the channel after the specified time period. The “Insider” option enables subscribers to view who has voted for a specific option.

    After you made your adjustments tap “SEND” button and create the poll.

    Messages are intended for one way communication between thread creator and channel subscribers. In order to create a message thread select the channel in which you would like to send the message.

    Tap “Thread Creation” button on the bottom right corner and press “Message” button. Choose a topic and a description of the message these fields are mandatory for the thread creation.

    Optional you can add pictures or activate the “Age Out” and “Burn Notice” feature. The “Ageout” allows you to select the duration of the availability of the message. After the expiration time, the message thread will automatically deleted from the channel.

    When enabling the “Burn Notice” option, the message will self-destruct after the channel subscriber has read it. “Burn Notice” will also hide the channel and channel’s owner information while the receiver is reading the message.

    After you made your adjustments you tap “SEND” and send the message.

    Private channels provide the opportunity to set up a “closed-shop” with all the controls you need to keep private things private. They are accessible only for the intended audience and can be accessed by approved users only. With private channels you control your information across the entire life cycle.

    In order to create a private channel you need to sign in and choose the channel screen. Tap “+” icon and create your own channel. Select the private channel type which cannot be changed after the moment of creation. Add name and description of the channel these fields are mandatory.

    If you enable the “Thread Status” option you will be informed whether threads were read, delivered , or responded.

    You can enable the “Find Me” option which will allow other users to search the channel and send subscription requests. This option can be changed after the channel creation.

    When enabling the “Special Delivery” option this will allow the channel creator to always send the message to the channel subscribers irrespective of the availability settings of subscribers. This option is suitable for channels which share information regarding incidents. This option cannot be changed after the channel creation.

    The “Community” option allows all members in the channel to create threads in that channel. This feature is only available in private channels.

    The “Channel” icon can be exchanged by tapping on this icon and upload an image from gallery or camera. The “Channel” icon can be changed after the channel creation too.

    After you made your channel adjustments tap “NEXT”.
